The Spencer Gulf experienced some unseasonably warm weather over the weekend.
Roxby Downs reached 36.1°C, breaking its previous highest winter temperature of 34.6°C.
Further north, South Australia recorded its hottest ever temperature in winter, with a maximum of 39.4°C recorded at Oodnadatta on Saturday afternoon, 24 August.
