More seats and improved reliability are the main priority for Qantas, with the airline upgrading all regional routes from Adelaide.
From today, South Aussie travellers will see the larger QantasLink Q400 turboprop aircraft on regional runways in Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Mount Gambier and Kangaroo Island.
Once the transition is complete, Qantas will have three Q400s based in South Australia.

The older and smaller Q300 aircraft are gradually being retired from Qantas’ fleet.
