The Northern Areas Council is excited to announce the allocation of $30,000 in funding as
part of its 2024/25 Community Projects Grant Program.
This year’s recipients reflect a diverse range of projects that will enhance local infrastructure,
boost recreational opportunities, and support community events:
Bundaleer Forest Community Areas Association – $3,000 for the purchase of
mobile phone repeaters to improve coverage at the Bundaleer Forest Picnic Area.
Gulnare Community Development Board – $3,000 for the installation of an electric
BBQ area at the Gulnare Recreation Ground.
Jamestown Apex Club – $1,500 for funding assistance toward the 2024 Drought
Relief Event.
Jamestown Community Children’s Centre – $1913 for a transport play resource kit
to help kids develop road safety skills.
Ram and Ewe Rural Ball – $1,500 for funding assistance toward the 2025 Ram and
Ewe Ball.
RSL and Combined Services Clubs Jamestown – $2,437 for the purchase of
cooking equipment for the RSL Hall kitchen upgrade.
Spalding District Inc – $1,000 for the upgrade of blinds in the Spalding District Hall.
Spalding History and Archive Group – $3,000 for the purchase of picture frames to
display the historic collection.
Spalding War Memorial Committee – $1,000 for funding assistance toward the
military vehicle show and shine.
Jamestown Bizzy Bugs – $2,950 for the refresh of large soft play equipment for the
playgroup.
Bundaleer Motorcycle Club – $1,750 for the purchase of a BBQ trailer for
motorcycle events.
Georgetown Memorial Bowling Club – $1,950 for the installation of inclusion and
accessibility upgrades.
Spalding Sports Association – $2,500 for the upgrade of outdoor seating at the
Spalding Oval Precinct.
Yacka Bowling Club – $2,500 for the upgrade of the kitchen area at the clubrooms
