Gladstone Tennis Club has received funding to upgrade the courts.
The club has been allocated $235,000 under the Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Grants, to resurface six multi-use courts and install four light towers with LED Lighting.
It’s hoped the updates will bring further tourism, as well as economic and social benefits to the region.

Nine other sporting precincts have also secured funding in the latest round, including Snowtown Tennis Club, Yorketown Sporting Club, and Wallaroo Golf Club.
The forty-four successful applicants from across the state have shared in $5.5 million.
