New funding for Port Augusta community groups

Community groups in Port Augusta can now apply for a new grant that supports free family-friendly events, thanks to new funding.

Grants of up to $2,000 per organisation are available, thanks to the Council’s partnership with The Benevolent Society and Westpac Group’s Safer Children, Safer Communities program.

The events must be family-friendly, inclusive and accessible and should aim to create meaningful connections in the local community.

All events must be held before the end of this year.

Applications close on March 3, so head to the Port Augusta Council website to apply now.
