Meat Industry Awards Recognise Locals

Some local butchers have received a few nods and couple of wins at the Meat Industry Awards this week.

The team at Yorke’s Meat and Smallgoods in Kadina took out the traditional beef sausage category, with their Aussie BBQ, as well as taking out the top gong in the lamb burger section.

Coopers Butchers in Burra came in second in the lamb category for their Saltbush Hogget.

Minlaton Foodland came in second in the gourmet burger category for their Beef Cheeseburger.

And Peterborough Meat Supplies got the regional award for the ready to eat products with their Beef Goulash Pie.
