Cradock’s community campaign has successfully led to a decision to reduce speed limits due to safety concerns.
Main Street, with its current speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour, sparked fears that accidents, could occur due to the high traffic flow.
Transport Minister Tom Koutsantonis responded to the community’s plea and agreed to lower the speed limit to 60 kilometers per hour.
This decision came after locals advocated for the change to protect the lives of residents and visitors.
